- Secured 420,000 supporters
- We have had 4 meetings with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care
- An adjournment debate discussing Jess’s Law has taken place in parliament.
- To promote earlier cancer diagnosis for all, a Westminster debate was also held in parliament.
- Andrea Brady provided oral evidence at the Health and Social Care Committee’s Inquiry into cancer services.
- We are working closely with the Chair of The Royal College of General Practitioners to develop a training module for GPs to help manage uncertainty in cancer diagnosis in young people. This will be funded by our charity Jessica Brady CEDAR Trust.
- We have spoken at patient safety webinars.
- We consulted in the creation of NHS England’s Primary Care Patient Safety Strategy.
- Launch of e-learning module Early diagnosis of cancer in young adults that references Jess’s Law on multiple occasions.
We continue to campaign, and currently, we are working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care to bring about positive change in the future.
